In the 19th century, Scotch was distilled, barrelled and bottled by a small group of businessmen who controlled the flow and flavour of whisky around the world. That changed when William Sanderson decided to do things differently. He prepared 100 blends and asked people which vat had the best whisky in it. The answer? Vat69.

- On the nose this blend has notes of sweet barley malt, cereals, caramel, pears and some spice. The barley malt and the pears reach the palate as well. Hints of a fruity sweetness and a little biscuit note are accompanied by spicy pepper.
