    VINTAGE 2015

The story of Veuve Clicquot is one of audacity, creativity, and boldness. In 1810, Madame Clicquot invented the first ever vintage champagne, in 2015 Veuve Clicquot declared the 67th vintage of the Maison. Since then, the house has cultivated an art of ageing.

The predominance of Pinot Noir (50%), produced exclusively from grapes selected from the Grand Cru and Premier Cru villages, provides the structure that is so typically Clicquot. Chardonnay (30%) brings the elegance and finesse of a perfectly balanced wine, while a small percentage of Pinot Meunier (20%) rounds out the blend.

Veuve Clicquot’s Vintage collection is unique for its use of wines vinified and aged in large oak casks (10%), which adds strength and aromatic intensity. The cask-aged wines bring an additional complexity with their spicy notes and subtle roast coffee and toasted aromas.

Aromas: Orange, grapefruit, citrus fruit zest, dried apricot, dates, marmalade, toast, biscuit, praline

    VINTAGE 2012 ROSÉ

In 1810, Madame Clicquot invented the first Vintage Champagne, in 2012 Veuve Clicquot declared the 66th vintage of the Maison. With grapes exclusively from Grands and Premiers Crus, Pinot Noir dominates the blend and provides the structure that is so typically Clicquot, followed by Chardonnay that adds finesse and elegance essential in a perfectly balanced wine, and then Meunier that rounds out the blend. The Vintage Rosé 2012 blend is elaborated with 13% red still wine, exclusively from the Pinot Noir of Bouzy. The uniqueness of the Vintage Rosé 2012 lies in the addition of 11% of wines aged in large wooden casks (foudres), bringing strength and aromatic intensity. The cask-aged wines act as spices to the blend, bringing very lightly woody, vanilla and toasted aromas.

    LA GRANDE DAME 2015

Veuve Clicquot has collaborated with renowned Italian artist Paola Paronetto – who instils a deep message of optimism through colours and textures – to embody the harmony found in the prestige La Grande Dame 2015.

La Grande Dame 2015 is all about tension and elegance. It exhibits a beautiful, sparkling, golden robe. It offers freshness and minerality on the nose, with light floral notes of jasmine and acacia that evolve towards fruity notes of pear and clementine. In the mouth, its texture is subtle and silky.

    Extra Brut Extra Old

Extra Brut Extra Old is a cuvée collection crafted from a unique blend of prestigious old reserve wines. In 2013, Cellar Master Dominique Demarville created a unique blend composed exclusively from reserve wines, in order to express the quintessence of Yellow Label and paying tribute to Madame Clicquot and her innovative and visionary process. Thus, was born the Extra Brut Extra Old cuvée, a particularly singular champagne.
