Cloudy Bay broke the winemaking rules to create a sophisticated style of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc made through wild fermentation and aging in old French oak barrique.   Defining a new Pinot Noir place, Cloudy Bay’s “Te Wahi”, meaning “the place” in Maori, speaks of its origin, encapsulating the extremely southerly and continental terroir that is Central Otago.
