Chandon flies the flag as the only Australian sparkling specialists with genuine French heritage.
It all begins decades ago, when Moët & Chandon dared to dream differently,
believing that the unknown could deliver brilliant opportunity.
Produce superlative sparkling wines outside its hallowed French terroir? Mais bien sûr!

During the mid-1980s, in a flash of serendipity, a team of Chandon’s wine whisperers
struck gold at Green Point, an old dairy farm in Victoria’s Yarra Valley.
The cool climate and great soil combined to make a picture-perfect home for Domaine Chandon.
Since 1986, this is where Australia’s leading méthode traditionnelle producer
has been confidently crafting sparkling and still wines
that are stamped with the distinct style that is Chandon.

"Made as an aperitif style. But this is no lean and tight mouth puckerer. It’s got depth and palate intensity and a sublime poise and finish. A consistent house style that has made this name one of the best when it comes to Aussie bubbles."

The Chandon Rosé is a fresh, vibrant and elegant aperitif style crafted in the traditional method. Enticing and distinctive it has a long, generous palate and a bright, crisp finish.

“An elegant and subtle rose of pretty, pale salmon hue, based on the ’13 vintage (with 20% reserves), led by chardonnay (55%) and tinted with 6-8% pinot noir red wine. Gentle musk and rose hip aromas and red berry and red apple fruits meld with the yeasty, earthy influence of 18 months on lees. A gently textural palate unites an even, refreshing acid line with well-gauged dosage.”

A unique and delicious interpretation of the Australian classic, this pinot noir-led sparkling red wine is a great companion to food and friends.

"Cool climate pinot noir and shiraz make for a compelling duo in sparkling form, pinot lending its elegant red cherry and strawberry fruits and shiraz its plum, pepper and spice. The result is impeccably composed, carrying great fruit poise and persistence, supported by fine-tuned acidity, silky, soft tannins, and well integrated dosage."
